Nicotine Prescription FAQ

  1. Why do I need a prescription?
  2. It is required under the new Australian law to have a valid prescription to import nicotine. For more information, click here.

  3. How do I get the prescription?
  4. You can get a prescription from your General Practitioner (GP), registered doctors, or from Quit Clinics. For more information, click here.

    Please note that some doctors may not be informed about the new law and may refuse to write you a prescription. You can direct your GP for more information at https://www.athra.org.au/vaping/

  5. How much will it cost for a prescription?
  6. Prices may vary depending on where you go. However, Quit Clinic offers a 12 month prescription for $85.00. Typically, a prescription will only be valid for 3 months.

  7. Do I need to provide my prescription to DHL or Australian Customs?
  8. Not at this point. A copy of your prescription will be attached to your parcel. This will ensure a smooth delivery process and prevent delays.

  9. Do I need to upload my prescription for every order?
  10. Only if you are a guest user. If you have an online account with us, you can save your prescription on your account and re-order as many times as you want until the prescription expires.

  11. How much can I order?
  12. It is recommended to only order within the range stated on your prescription. Please check your prescription before placing your order.

  13. What if I order more than what is mentioned on my prescription?
  14. We will not be liable for any parcel being delayed or seized. Each prescription will have its own limit so it is important to order within your limit.

  15. What if I order without a prescription?
  16. We will not be responsible for your order if delayed or seized. Please be sure to upload your prescription.

  17. Can I use someone else’s prescription?
  18. No. You cannot use another's prescription. If you order using another’s prescription, we are not liable for any seizures of your parcel.

  19. Can I put a different name on my order?
  20. No. We will require the same name on the order as mentioned on the prescription provided. Do not use a nickname or a preferred name. We will not be liable for your parcel should you place a name that does not match with your prescription.

  21. I’ve provided my prescription for my order but my order is delayed. What should I do?
  22. Please email our team at [email protected]. Please include your order number and a copy of your prescription so our team can check.

  23. My prescription is expiring soon. Can I still order?
  24. Yes, you can. If your order cannot be processed on time, our team will be in touch. If you have an account with us, we will send you an email reminder to renew your prescription.
